I know there’s been a lot of hoo ha in the beauty sphere with regards to Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks. Over here, the packaging is very ugly and cheap and I’ve not paid much attention to it till now, only because I am a drugstore lipstick addict and honestly, I’ve run out of lipsticks to test.
So I pretty much closed my eyes to the horrible packaging, ( feels so cheap) and picked up these two shades – Windsor Rose and Coral Pink. As you can see from my swatches these lipsticks are smooth, creamy and pigmented. They remind me of the Rimmel Color Show Off Lipstick with a creamier finish.
I like Windsor Rose because it makes lips look like they have just been kissed and it’s a natural flushed color. Coral Pink is pretty unique in that it’s pinkish with an orangey tone to it. Staying power is pretty decent lasting a few hours and there’s no awful or unpleasant taste.
Sorry I am in a hair fix once again. A bad hair cut will never grow out well! Oh well. I am wearing Coral Pink on my lips below but my lip liner is by Rimmel and it makes Coral Pink appear a little darker than it really is. I shall post more pictures of myself wearing these 2 shades. Overall, these lipsticks aren’t that expensive with the sale going on at Watsons now and I find that the lipstick itself is pretty good. Just that they don’t have any color that looks close to Pink Please – the range in Singapore is pretty sad.
Ok, so my boy has 6 teeth already- with 2 more on the way.. teething is quite a pain. hahaha
