I guess I’ve said this one too many times but I’m totally frustrated with my hair. I think my hubby has heard this a gazillion times and he simply cringes everytime I mention the word “ hair” now… hahaha
I thought I would look okay with darker hair when I first dyed it black but I realized after some months that I feel lighter, happier, younger and so much better with lighter hair. That’s why I just can’t contain my excitement and had to share with you guys that this Thursday (oops) Wednesday, I’m going for a sponsored hair makeover at a really hip Japanese Hair Salon in Town! I CANNOT WAIT TO CORRECT MY HAIR COLOR & get a good hair cut.
All mommies need pampering so I’ll do my best and enjoy my upcoming hair makeover session.. shall blog about it by the weekend so stay tuned girlies!

Good luck with your hair! Are you going to get the colour stripped out and redone? I don't think you can dye over black dye....

hehe actually my appt was today! i got the dates mixed up... its natural looking with highlights & I'm pretty happy with it!
Hi ZOE!!! I missed u too! how's aussie? i miss ur blog postingsss... u always have such nice comments that make me smile -- big big hug to u! due to my own stupidity, i couldn't go light much because as jamilla pointed out it would mean bleaching my hair and dyeing the color over and my hair would probably be really spoilt afterwards. Anyways, it's a subtle change but one that I like cause it's like a transitioning hair color for me too... i probably will wait another 3 months and dye my hair a lighter oranger brown.. I miss that color as it really makes me feel more energized for some reason! as for curling, I think I'm going to tong my hair more now cause the hair cut made my hair shape much better...:) take good care sweetie
yup! i told the hair stylist that I probably wouldn't want to keep popping back to do frequent touch ups as my schedule wouldn't allow it.. i like dark hair like you because its super low maintenance but I just don't feel happy with it! u look super with dark hair nic!

hey jamilla! Yup u were absolutely right. They did tell me that I had to bleach out my hair before any color could basically eat into it but that would mean frizzy dry hair again ! the stylist also told me that I should have dyed my hair dark brown instead of black so hair dyes wouldn't have so much problems eating in.... sigh... i'm so silly! * knocks head*
