Oh… I have a confession to make. I bought 2 Too Faced Palettes on Apothica.com ( amazing customer and quick delivery makes it a pleasure to buy from! ) and I’m gonna show some swatches of this beautiful palette. I’ve been debating between UD Naked Palette and Too Faced Natural Eye Palette and something about TF just lured me to it!

I love soft peachy lipsticks. I think they complement yellow skin tones perfectly. NYX Round lipstick in pumpkin pie seemed to have the perfect peachy nude combination. I dug around for some existing reviews and was pretty much sold on getting this beautiful peachy shade.
I’ve always been a fan of Etude House’s lip products. Proof 10 Aqua tint seemed so promising with a lovely red tint when I swatched it on the back of my hand… However, when I wore it out with Mr BlovetBeauty, he kind of hinted that he didn’t quite like the shade and said it made my lips look unnaturally red
The tint leaves an uneven blotchiness to my lips. Also I have pigmented lips and I find that this enhances it in certain lighting. I find that it settles really horribly in my lip lines and makes my lips look like they are dry, cracked and bleeding. Not a good look if you ask me.
Do pass on this lip tint as it does nothing pretty for the lips…
Eyebrows are probably the most underrated feature of a person’s face. I find that thicker korean style eyebrows work best for me and give the illusion of a slimmer face. For that reason, I am pretty picky about the products I use on my brows. My eyebrow pencil has got to give definition while looking natural at the same time.
She’s reminds me of a modern Annie Lennox. This MTV is magical and so is her makeup.
The red lips and dark eyes combo is powerful and mesmerizing.
I mentioned somewhere that I had a recent staycation and it was the best mini get away in a long time. Even my little one enjoyed himself exploring everything in the hotel room! My staycation was short and sweet yet special because it coincided with our 5th wedding anniversary! Time just zips by when you’re having fun!
Omg. Thank you to all my lovely readers and blog mates who have sent their condolences and well wishes. I’m doing better now after a heap of self reflection, a staycation and spending quality time with family .
During my recent 5 day holiday in Bali, I thought I would be acne free because I brought along my facial wash, moisturizer, sunblock, drank water like a thirsty hippo and thought I would have zero stress chilling through the holidays! Sigh... Feeling confident, I even left my glycolic behind and lo and behold, angry red pimples emerged on the last few days of my Bali trip.
This angry rosy pimple was just one of the few that reared it's ugly head in Bali.
