I'm feeling pretty bloated and quite fleshy lately. Blame all the fried foods and bad diet. I really want to get back to eating more greens, fruits and healthy carbs. I can't keep eating Old Chang Kee ( fried spring rolls and curry puffs!) and take always - the temptation of it being cheap and quick is so hard to resist! Hehe

I usually need some motivation to work so retail therapy is really helpful for me. I quite like prints but never dare wear it do I guess the next best thing is to take a picture of myself wearing it in the changing room! Hahaha pardon the fleshy bits :p

I did it again!

I went darker with my hair color - Revlon 32 cause my awful faded blonde streaks were starting to peek through and the brown in my hair was turning rather orangey. I'd been toying with the idea of red hair but was a little hesitant because I don't remember looking good with any shade of red in my late teens ( haha) . The Revlon color I used was a deep mahogany brown which I felt might suit my skin so here it is! FYI - I bought 2 bottles because my hair is much longer now and the last time I dyed my hair I was super short on hair dye.

What do u think of it?

-- I have a weird bruise on my nose tip. No idea why. Also I found my next must have exfoliating device other than my clarisonic. Shall update u guys on that in the next entry!

I sure hope u're having a great weekend. The boys and I headed over to Jurong Bird Park this morning and boy was it scorching. Not so great for walking around because I felt like a roasted animal. Hahaha!

I visited JCube last evening at the insistence of my hubby. Franc franc has finally landed in Singapore and frankly I was kinda underwhelmed by the range of interior decor they had brought in. It doesn't seem to be as cute as what I saw in Japan a few years ago and maybe I'm more of Loft fan.

How has your week been? Mine has been pretty much full of ups and downs. On the one hand, I was super excited cause my darling friend who I’ve known since 16 came to work at my company for a short while before officially starting her teaching career. It’s such a refreshing change having someone you get along with and trust in the same working area. It was fun and productive and I loved it! I’ve also been on the hunt for a new shop space and found an interesting high ceiling space at Armenian street ( totally chic with an old world charm).On the downside, my little toddler boy has been down with a cold and bumped his prominent forehead several times again. He is one klutzy boy who makes me worry!

My grandma's 90th birthday celebration was just over and I thank God for her amazing health and mental alertness.

It sure isn't easy living to such a ripe age but I love how she does it with style and grace. She was wearing a gorgeous print scarf and had dyed her hair a dark brown. In other words, she looks darn good at her age.

I had a real yummy ice blended mocha at secret recipe so cheers to everyone - have a great Sunday

I had an amazing weekend!! Saturday was spent at the zoo and home. Sunday was spent in the car driving across the causeway, relaxing in Johor and having a lovely stone grill lunch( so hungry that I forgot to take a picture) dang!
